How we write, review and maintain the content on this website.
Who writes the content
All trade advice, guides and project documentation on this website is written or reviewed by F.C. Schlebusch, the owner and operator of Nexus General DIY (PTY) LTD. FC has led property maintenance, renovation and repair work across Bloemfontein for over a decade. Advice reflects his direct field experience and the methods his team applies on the job.
Nexus does not publish advice written by content agencies, AI content generators or writers with no hands-on property maintenance experience. If an article contains a perspective from a third party such as a supplier or manufacturer, that source is identified clearly.
Our accuracy standard
We aim to give information that is specific and correct for Bloemfontein conditions, property types and supplier availability. We do not copy generic advice from other websites. Where we describe a repair method, product or procedure, it reflects work Nexus has actually carried out.

- Safety and compliance content: updated immediately when applicable rules change
- Project case studies: permanent records; not altered after publication except to correct factual errors
- Business information (hours, contact, team): updated immediately after any change
We do not update the published date on a page without materially reviewing and updating its content.
Corrections
If you identify a factual error on this website, please contact us at info@nexusdiy.co.za. We take accuracy seriously and will investigate and correct genuine errors promptly.
Use of AI tools
